The parent company, established in 2002, is engaged in manufacturing and exporting of medical devices in the field of Ophthalmology and General Surgery. The company is run by a group of young and energetic management professionals who have rich experience in the field manufacturing and marketing of Medical Devices.

Since its inception OPHTECHNICS UNLIMITED has had tremendous success in placing its products in the most exacting markets – including those in United States and Europe. OPHTECHNICS is a preferred subcontract /OEM manufacturer for many prestigious brands from US, Europe and Asia.

TRUSIL™ is the silicone products division of OPHTECHNICS UNLIMITED. It is an initiative personally led by the CEO of the company who - through constant market interaction and feedback - sensed a market need for reliable, premium quality and affordable silicone rubber products for use by the medical and pharmaceutical industry.

Most silicone tubing and components, currently available in the Indian market, are manufactured at units manufacturing a wide range of rubber products – including products for industrial and general purposes. These units are neither designed nor certified for manufacturing components to be used in medical devices or for medical applications.

At TRUSIL™ we realize and value the importance of manufacturing the product in strict compliance to the Medical Devices Directive (MDD). The company has invested about $250,000 in a state-of-the-art Silicone Manufacturing unit, at Gurgaon – near the national capital of India, New Delhi. This unit is exclusively designed to manufacture Silicone Tubing and Components for use by the medical and pharmaceutical industry.
